SolutionsPT donates clothing to the Wellspring

SolutionsPT staff took advantage of cleaning out their closets over the Christmas break and donating  their second-hand clothes to the Wellspring centre. A local charity we aim to support, the Wellspring is a resource centre for homeless and disadvantaged people. The project is on Harvey St, behind Robinsons brewery in Stockport.

The Wellspring actively engages with homeless people, providing advice and support, as well as referrals into housing or supported accommodation. Accepting donations of clothing - whatever the Wellspring can't use to help people sleeping rough, they will sell the rest for charity. 

The paid staff at the Wellspring have
supported over 700 people into housing of some description, all of these people were sleeping rough on the streets of Stockport or Manchester at some time.
